Riot's BIGGEST mistake with world playoffs
Quote from Riot:

"AzF Woong committed a major infraction of the rules and the team is hereby collectively fined in the amount of 20% of the prize winnings earned by AzF as a result of advancing into the Semifinals ($150,000). AzF’s total fine for this violation is $30,000."

So apparently cheating in a way that could change the outcome of a game is $30,000 bad, but good luck Azubu Frost on being allowed a chance at 1 million?! /sarcasm. I'm upset...

NEW: 3:45 PDT 10/10 : Redbeard has made a post outlining their ruling on the cheating investigation here:

I am still sifting through the information as we speak. Feel free to post your feelings on the outcome.

UPDATE: 5:55 PDT 10/7 : Redbeard acknowledges our worries and says they will be investigating all the games! Especially the ones presented in this thread. http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/....php?t=2655300

Here is a quote from Redbeard on his thread about Day 3.

"We are still investigating everything. Goal is to make a decision before games resume on Wednesday."

So expect to hear the results in the next 24 hours hopefully. My opinion is that "if" anything damning has been found, they are working on presenting it in a way that doesn't make the whole world think they are going just off of forum evidence and were swayed by us in their conclusion. They are probably working up an audit report with pictures as we speak.

Stay tuned to this thread for investigation discussion when available!

TLDR: World Elite just got caught cheating using the exact same tactic I warned about in this post that was made the morning of Day 3! Skip to EDIT6 for proof and VOD. Edit10 has Azubu Frost proof that popped up overnight. Edit11 has a link with other teams cheating as well.

Update: This has NOTHING to do with the teams being Asian. I posted later on in the thread that I only did this because I finally found proof that someone was doing this!

Why the hell are the minimap screens on stage in easy view of both teams?! All someone has to do is turn to the side to see the minimap screen behind the opposite team easily. This is and was easily achieved by a teammate "looking" at the teammate next to him to talk to him. Why would someone wearing a headset and in voice chat need to look at someone they are talking to?! To peak at the minimap.

I was there Thursday and Friday at LA Live and I caught alot of players peaking up there during a match and especially during a pause in-game. With so much money on the line, you could only expect people using anything available to them to get the upper hand. Did anyone else notice this?

I highly recommend that Riot turns off those minimap screens for today's games. The audience wasn't really looking at them anyway since the minimap was on the main screen...

EDIT: Here are pictures of the stage for reference: http://i.imgur.com/WlkYO.jpg Red arrow points to minimap screen. This should put to rest the notion of it not being possible

EDIT2: Trust me when I say there was zero delay. As soon as /ff votes passed, players would stand up and cheer at that moment. This was a live LAN event. And the walls behind the players didn't matter since looking to the side would have the opposite teams mimimap screen in their FOV. They would look to the side towards a player and their eyes would suddenly look up towards that minimap screen. I was watching the screen that had the camera pointed at the players faces. There were occasions where a player seemed to look over the player he was supposedly looking at to talk to during a match.

Edit3: I am not talking about the minimap on the main screen. I am talking about the two minimap screens on each side of the main screen in the picture.

Edit4: (Here is a reply that i make later on that makes alot of sense)

"I dont know if it was shown on the online stream, but during the first game with TSM when it got paused, I saw Dyrus and Reginald look to the side and noticed that the minimap was in view. They immediatelty called a judge over and asked them to turn them off. My opinion was that TSM was very worried that their level 1 gank through top lane would be seen...well...didn't you guys notice that when the game was remade that Azubu's Jayce just so happened to Q into tops brush... I'm really not trying to be a conspiracy theorist but the more i think about it, the more i get convinced."

EDIT5: Now during CLG.eu vs. WE a reddit thread popped up about WE peaking at the minimap like i've been talking about. X-Post for justice!

EDIT6: PROOF: Thank you MandrewSandwich for the VOD link so i can screengrab the cheater in action.

VOD: http://www.twitch.tv/riotgames/b/334689407 @27:45

Proof that WE had a clear view if they looked left towards the minimap screen over CLG.EU @7:25 Look at the player second to last on the right- Thanks Indekkusutaku for info

Pre-game picture to show that they were sitting on the left side of the stage below:

Edit7: People have asked many times if there was a 3 minute delay on screen. Myself and many other people who were in the audience at the event have replied saying no there is not a delay. Remember that this is a tournament build of LOL.

Edit8: Here is Chaox with IPL talking about how easy it was for players to look at the minimap that the naysayers in this thread have had as their only retort so far.

Edit9: (Regi telling the judge about said mini map problem)

http://zh-tw.twitch.tv/riotgames/b/334537601 @5:16:03

Edit10: Azubu Frost player seen looking at minimap with a ping top coming soon after: http://i.imgur.com/hntqU.jpg (should be noted that this image was taken AFTER a blanket warning was given out by the judges for looking at minimaps to both teams)

Reginald Vlog explaining that yes it is true, but its ok (I don't agree): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhDfMm58Xwg

Edit11: Here is a link from reddit with even more proof and with other teams cheating as well: http://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflege...heating_proof/
The youtube link for IG is pretty damning for them. I don't care if the game just got paused, that player just looked at the screen and got a great view of all the enemy champions on the map.

Edit12: TSM Reginald weighs in on the evidence: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjYEL7N6kxA @1:16

Xpecial has sifted through the evidence and VODs and agrees that what Azubu Frost did was suspicious here: https://twitter.com/TSMXpecial

P.S. This thread has been picked up by Massively and Kotaku along with others! I'm glad to see that other people can look at my evidence with an unbiased eye and agree that it is solid.

pic plz

CTkiller 10-06-2012 09:12 AM

They would probably be disqualified if they did that

PowaLegend 10-06-2012 09:14 AM

I saw many teams making some ridiculous blind plays and the first that I thought was it could be about the minimaps.

firesflame4 10-06-2012 09:14 AM

45 second delay

Its 3 mins, because of wards.

CausticSushi 10-06-2012 09:16 AM

Even if they did look at the minimap, it was spectator mode, theres a delay.

Mrfishii 10-06-2012 09:17 AM

Totally agree, I was thinking that the whole time.

They should have them perfectly horizontal so peeking at the screen would be impossible

Edit: just saw the delay post and just remembered. So...

TovnmLoL 10-06-2012 09:17 AM
