!!!Trouble Shooting: PLEASE READ ME FIRST!!!

I've now moved this stuff here: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Troubleshooting

When you solve a problem please add it to the wiki page so that others don't have to go through the trouble you went through. Its very easy to do.

Most likely cause 1: anti-aliasing is forced to on. Turning off anti-aliasing in the video
card settings (I wish I could give exact instructions but I don't have a nvidia/ati console to look this up.)

Confirmed issue for me on a GTX 285.

I can't say 100% it was just trying to force Anti-Aliasing, but I tried to force AA and a few other settings for LoL in the nvidia control panel and had to play a match were all I could see was champions running around on a black plane. No spell or skill effects either. It was...fun! :)

hohums,

I've been having the crash-on-load problem a fair amount recently, could you post the link on how to turn up logging for it?

SO i think my issue is closest to the first one mentioned... game starts fine but as soon as combat happens players (and Minions) freeze where they are but their hp still drops and after a few seconds everything jumps to where they really are... the happens prolly every 45 seconds to minute.. ive tried those solutions but no luck.. and more suggestions?

TyEzz, to me that sounds like a network problem. Have you checked your packet loss/throughput? Try this site if you haven't:

only thing it mentioned about packets is that the buffering would be too excessive.. would make alot of sense cuz the problem seems just like a buffering issue as if i was watching a video.. now the real question is.. how do i fix it?? been wantin to play a good game of LoL soooo bad i hope theres a way to do it... any suggestions?

2) Game doesn't start, every time (no once in a few games)

Most likely cause: Graphics card does not support shader 2.0. Geforce 5
is the lowest card we support that has shader 2.0 (not sure what the ATi
is, probably x800 -> if some wants to do the research let me know and I'll update)
We have plans to add better messaging here rather then crashing.

And i would bet my bottom dollar that this is the reason i would crash in load screen every single time. Thanks Hohums for working so hard. Finally knowing what the requirements are means that once i get back home i should be able to have a bunch of LoL playing time ahead of me =D
We all appreciate the work that you do Hohums :]

Ok so the patch is out. I've updated the doc with how to turn this logging on.
